Living in France was more expensive then we had originally anticipated. The smile she had on her face took away my practicality of the moment, which helped me feel the cool excitement in the air. <br />All Hallows eve still felt the same. However, there were a few things that were very French and very different. Outdoor chestnut sellers were out for the first time, crape vendors were all dressed up in witch costumes, and random children were running wild all over the streets. The fresh mystery filled the night well.<br />We finally found Sahara’s costume at Claies boutique which was the busiest store in town that night. A bright pink tutu and crown with veil made her into a perfect princess bride. Her face was filled with giddy laughter as I bought her over-priced Halloween costume. <br />We walked back home a little faster this time, almost finding our steps turn into skips. The night was getting colder, but my daughter and I never felt it.
